Metnor Construction will work in partnership with North Norfolk District Council to construct the new multi-million pound leisure centre in Sheringham, which is being part funded by Sport England.
The new facility will replace the existing Splash leisure centre, which will remain open whilst the new centre is built on a different part of the site.
The leisure centre will be approximately 3000m² GIA comprising of the following:
- 25m main swimming pool
- Learner pool with moveable floor
- Splash pad and associated interactive equipment
- Village change area; including WC’s, showers and accessible facilities
- Café including kitchen facilities
- Community rooms
- Fitness suite, multi-purpose studios and spin studios
- Associated external works and drainage
