WHO WE ARE?
A multi-award-winning architectural practice based in Kingsbridge, South Devon. Headed by Chartered Architect Mike Derry and Joe Owen, we aim to provide excellent customer service and outstanding design. Our services include building projects ranging from small house extensions to larger commercial buildings.
The practice was founded in 2014 and has since grown both in size and reputation. We have been recognized through numerous awards most notably the Devon Building Control Partnership Best Residential and Small Commercial Designer 2022 and the LABC South West Region Building Excellence Winner 2019.
Our work is mainly based in the South Hams but has also expanded to include projects in the surrounding areas.
We are a small office with a lot of passion for what we do. We provide a personal service that can be lost with larger firms and pride ourselves on our customer service and the legacy of beautiful buildings we have created in the short time since we began.
We strive to design beautiful and healthy buildings built to the highest possible environmental standards which are cost effective to build and fit sensitively into their surroundings whilst responding to the needs and aspirations of each individual client.
WHAT WE DO
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
Working in close collaboration with our clients and drawing on our extensive experience, local knowledge, and excellent design skills we can develop the initial brief into high quality architectural design for a wide range of building projects.
PLANNING DRAWINGS
We guide our clients through the planning process and provide scheme design drawings for submission to the local authority for planning approval.
BUILDING REGULATIONS DRAWINGS
Detailed design drawings for approval under the Building Regulations which can also be used for tender and construction.
CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION
We administer building contracts between clients and contractors and provide technical assistance whilst the building works are carried out on site up until the project is completed.
